The Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria has described former President Muhammadu Buhari as a patriot and nation builder whose leadership was defined by discipline, integrity, and a strong commitment to national unity.

In a condolence message signed by its National President, Prince Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem (SAN), the Society said it received the news of the former president’s passing with deep sorrow and a profound sense of loss.

“President Buhari was a patriot, a disciplined leader, and a statesman who dedicated his life to the service of our great nation,” the statement read.

The organisation praised Buhari’s record both in the military and as a democratically elected leader, noting his persistent efforts to secure Nigeria, fight corruption, and promote transparency in governance.

“His unwavering belief in Nigeria and his determination to build a better future for all remain part of his enduring legacy,” the statement added.

Ansar-Ud-Deen offered heartfelt condolences to Buhari’s immediate family, the government, and the Nigerian people, praying for strength and patience for those he left behind.

The faith group beseech “Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, reward his good deeds, and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

“May He also grant his family and all who mourn him the strength to bear this great loss”, it added.
