Buhari leads Atiku with 1,004, 011 votes from 18 states

President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Party, APC is leading Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP with 1,004011 votes from the results of seventeen states and the Federal Capital Territory announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The Presidential election was held on Saturday across the 36 states of the federation and the FCT.

Buhari has polled a total of 6,153,880 votes while Atiku scored 5,149,869.

Collation of results is expected to resume at 3:00pm after INEC chair, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu announced an hour break.

Results are expected from twenty more states before a winner is announced.
