Nigerians should not be sentimental, President Muhammadu Buhari is neither operating as president of only northern Nigeria nor has he any hidden agenda against the south.
There are statements in some quarters that Buhari is operating as president of only the north, such comments always emanate from “same crop of Nigerians” but the recent appointment made by President Muhammadu Buhari is not based on ethnic or religious sentiments.
The appointments made so far by the president are just 19 out of thousands he is yet to make, he appointed media aides from both North and South, PMB should however extend hand of fellowship to Northern Christians.
Nigerians should realise that PMB has to start governance with those he know, he cannot appoint people he doesn’t know to sensitive positions but certainly PMB has no hidden agenda against the South, however, though women are barely represented (Amina Zakari at INEC), youths have been left out of scheme of things despite their immense electoral contribution.
Attempt to batter PMB’s image will not work, other platforms like Arewa Youth Consultative Forum AYCF are unfortunately towing same line.
