President Muhammadu Buhari has directed security and law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate the murder of the traditional ruler of Obudi Agwa community, Oguta Council Area of Imo State, Eze Ignitus Asor.
Gunmen, suspected to be youths from the community, had on Monday invaded the palace of the traditional ruler, where a community matter was being discussed, and opened fire on those in sight, including Eze Asor and his chiefs, leaving five persons dead.

Buhari, in a statement Tuesday by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, urged the security agencies to bring the perpetrators to justice.
He condemned the killings and expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and the people of the community.
