The capital of Rivers State, Port Harcourt wore a new look for today’s commencement of All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign which has been kicked-off . 
 General Muhammadu Buhari told his supporters in port Harcourt that his party is going to assemble a competent group of Nigerians to efficeintly manage the economy and provide security and prosperity for Nigerians.

 Buhari also said his campaign team would use the next one month for campaigns throughout the country.

 Partymen like Speaker of House of Representatives Aminu Tambuwal, Governor Babatunde Raji fashola of Lagos state urged Nigerians to vote for the opposition All Progressives Congress to save the country.
The Director of Communication Buhari Campaign Organisation, Mr. Dele Alake said the event is scheduled for the 40,000-capacity Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Igwuruta, near the Port Harcourt International Airport.

He said the rally will be transmitted live on major television networks adding that after inaugurating Buhari’s campaign in the Garden City, the APC team will move to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital, to campaign in the PDP-controlled state. 

According to Alake, In Uyo, the APC Presidential candidate will present its governorship candidate, Mr. Umana Okon Umana, a former secretary to the state government.

The campaign team will remain in the South-South for the next one week, going round states in the region from Port Harcourt.
