A Buhari support group, Coalition of Buhari-Osinbajo Movement (COBOM), has promised to mobilise 10 million votes for President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC in the February, 2019 general elections, saying the president will ensure sustainable development if re-elected.

Speaking at the inauguration of its national executive in Abuja yesterday, the Grand Patron of the coalition, Garba Audu, said, “This coalition is going to give President Muhammadu Buhari 10 million votes. These 10 million people have their PVCs, and come February 16, all the youths here are going to vote for Buhari.”

Audu said the principal aim of the coalition was to take the message of a new Nigeria with sustainable development and growth to every corner of the country and beyond, noting that the movement had youths from all the 774 local government areas of the country.

He said COBOM transformed from Change Ambassadors for Nigeria (CAN) which started in 2015 with the aim of ensuring the election of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“We have conviction in the work of Buhari and hope that Buhari will take us to the next level,” he said.

The National Coordinator of COBOM, Augustine Esiekpe, said the coalition, which had structures in the 36 states with 500,000 members, had engineered a blend of Nigerian youths and elders who were fully motivated to reach all parts of Nigeria.
