Some builders and home owners who spoke to Daily Trust have revealed excitement over a technological innovation which could define the future of Nigeria’s building and construction industry in years to come.
Nigerian building tech firm, Frakem.com has decided to lead the way by providing a secured online platform where one can source, compare and order for various categories of building and home improvement products from the comfort of his home or office and ordered products delivered to doorstep.
Speaking on the development, Tijjani Buhari who is currently supervising a building project in Garki, Abuja said he had waited long for this innovation considering the most stressful part of his job is going to market to source for materials.
“When I first heard about the site, I first thought how it will work because I know how cumbersome and complex the building sector could be but to my surprise they have made everything so easy. Everything you need is there on the site. It makes my work a lot easier.” He said.
While for home owner Tony Umeh it was the after service that caught his attention, saying the fact that one could always depend on their highly trained plumbers and technicians makes this a welcome development.
“Before now I have been having lots of problems with road-side plumbers who fix things for me and it gets broken after a while, so after I heard about this firm, I visited the site, bought new pipes and they sent in their personnel to help fix it, all with the click of some buttons.”
The company is also said to be helping Nigerians in diaspora build their houses at home with ease without been swindled by relatives and associates. All it takes is a visit to the site.
