The Nigeria Institute of Builders (NIoB) has called on the Federal Government to provide enabling environment for construction business to thrive in Nigeria.
In a statement signed by the public relation of the institute, Kunle Awobodu, the President of the institute, Tunde Lasabi made the call during the 45th Annual Conference of the Institute held in Ibadan, Oyo State.
He said the choice of the conference theme “Skills Development and Entrepreneurship in the Construction Industry” was anchored on the firm need for builders’ to embrace entrepreneurship.
According to him, a lot of business opportunities are available for builders and African construction professionals, adding, “as builders, our foremost concern is that government provides an enabling environment for business to thrive in Nigeria and we are harnessing the opportunity to make a better nation”.
