He spoke in Abuja at the 2014 technical training/Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter, with the theme: “Building Consultancy Services: An Approach for Effective Project Delivery”.
Represented by Aliyu Ova, board member of CORBON, Bala said: “Many builders have not keyed in to ICT. This is not good enough. To explain away this attitude, some say, ‘What I don’t know, my children will know.’ If you are one of such people, then you should quit the field. ICT is part of the production tools you require.”
To this end, he announced that CORBON was entering a different phase in which it would  commence discussing with its members online, while they would be required to develop different things for the parent body electronically, among other uses of ICT tools that they would be obliged to apply.
