 Bayero University Kano (BUK) has invested over N500 million in the renovation of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.
Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Abubakar A. Rasheed, said that with the support of the Senate, the management decided to transform communication studies to reflect the current changes and development in the global communication innovation and application.
BUK, according to him, must be strategically positioned to train professionals who can competitively fit into the emerging reality of communication technologies, digitized media, growing film industry and all that are associated with the sector.
