Mass Communication students of Bayero University Kano are mourning the death of their colleague, Maryam Tambari Usman, popularly called Aunty Maryam.
The death of Aunty Maryam on June 18, 2016 came as a shock, one student said.
Another student said, “The memory of her laughter and rare sense of humour, kindness and commitment in everything she does still lingers in our class; hence the row on which she used to sit is now vacant, leaving behind an empty space and the hope to see her again.”
