Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has mourned the death of the former Governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Bukar Abba Ibrahim.
Governor Zulum, while praying for the repose of the soul of the former governor, extended his condolences to the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, his immediate family, and the people of Yobe over the loss.
He urged them to take solace in Allah, noting that death is an ordained process that every living creature shall pass through.
Zulum also described the late Bukar Abba as a dedicated public servant who contributed immensely to the development of both Borno and Yobe states.

“I wish to extend my commiserations to my brother Governor Mai Mala Buni and the family of our late elder statesman over the huge loss. May Allah forgive his soul and admit him into Jannatul Firdaus,” said the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Media, Baba Sheikh Haruna, in a statement.
