Mrs Bukola Agbakaizu until her sudden and unexpected death was a broadcaster with the Ogun State Television (OGTV) in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
A former presidential adviser, Babafemi Ojudu, said Agbakaizu “died in what she loved. That alone makes her loss all the more devastating.”
Agbakaizu served as an ex-officio of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council led by Wale Olanrewaju.
The secretary of the union, Mr Bunmi Adigun, said: “A versatile journalist and a passionate comrade, Bukola served as a former Vice Chairman of OGTV Chapel and was an invaluable member of the Wale Olanrewaju-led Executive.
