Bullying can trigger suicide

I read in the newspaper, that a 100 level student in Ekiti State University committed suicide. And my heart broke into a million pieces. He committed suicide because he was constantly bullied. When will the youths of today learn that being mean and savage to people doesn’t mean they are funny? Not everybody can take mean jabs. Now, someone’s friend, brother, cousin, coursemate, and son is dead. His death could have been avoided. If only people around him were kinder to him. We must create awareness about mental health. Little things matter. No word is too small to hurt another person neither is any word too little to make another person happy. Be kind to people, you don’t know what they are going through.
