Buni commissions library, ICT centre in Yobe court
Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, yesterday commissioned legal research and documentation centre, information technology facility and multi-purpose hall in the state High Court of Justice, Damaturu.

Speaking during the commissioning, Buni said the centre would help in capacity building of judicial officers to enhance speedy dispensation of justice in the court.

He said the government would continue to support the judiciary to adopt the use of new technology as modern methods of research and documentation.
“We will also support the judiciary to protect the rights of the people, promote equity, justice and fair play,” he added.
Speaking earlier, the state Chief Judge, Justice Gumna Kashim Kaigma said the facility would improve governance and compliance to the rule of law in Nigeria.
