Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State embarked on an unannounced inspection tour of ongoing township roads and a project at the Yobe State University Teaching Hospital in Damaturu.

During the tour, the governor stated that he intended to assess the quality and progress of work on the projects.

Expressing satisfaction with the quality and pace of work, the governor charged the Commissioner for Works, Engr Umaru Wakil Dudaye, to ensure that all ongoing projects delivered value for money.
