The night started, with DJ Nani unleashing series of hit songs from Nigerian and American acts to the delight of fun seekers as Kiss Daniels, kept up the tempo when he mounted the stage in the wee hours of the morning, especially with his hit single, ‘Woju.’
Kiss didn’t need back-up vocalists as the crowd sang along all through his time on stage. Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy, the main act came on stage an hour later. Dancing all the way as he was welcomed with loud screams, the crowd went with him on a musical journey as he excited them with some of his hits.
The dancehall musician, who was introduced following a sublime performance by The Mouth DJ, performed chartbusters like ‘Check and Balance,’ ‘Yawa Dey,’ ‘Run My Race’ and ‘Don Gorgon.’ It was indeed a night of quality entertainment as fun seekers went home glad that they honoured the invitation to the gig.
Guests enjoyed minutes of feeling like royalty as they took pictures on the black throne set up outside the venue of the party.
