A serving member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Lagos State has been reported dead after falling down from a yellow-painted commercial bus along the LASU-Isheri road in Lagos on Monday.

Daily Trust learnt that the corps member, Akhigbe Nuel Odiase, who was said to be a Law graduate of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, sustained serious injuries to the head from the accident and became unconscious. He didn’t recover from the condition.

It was gathered that when the incident happened about 9.45pm, he was immediately rushed to the Alimosho General Hospital, Igando, from where he was referred to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, where he later died.
