Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Musa Dikko, has said the rehabilitation of Bwari township roads was  captured in the budget of the Satellite Towns Development Department (STDD) of the FCT Administration.

Dikko, who spoke with our reporter after he submitted his nomination and expression of interest forms at the state secretariat of APC in Abuja, yesterday, said his administration had done everything possible  to ensure that work on the township roads got the  attention it deserved.

He said the township roads were a project of the FCT Administration, which was expected to be handled by the Satellite Towns Development Department (STDD) before the end of this year.

“In fact, immediately on my assumption of office in 2016, we tried to remind the FCT Administration about the deplorable state of Bwari township roads. And on the 16th of August, 2017, I still reminded the administration that Bwari central roads need to be attended to,” he said.
