MSB Mahmud, managing director and chief executive, Maneffort Limited,  told the media that, CABCONEKT  is a Call Centre with 018550000 quick contact phone line with modern technological equipment in Lagos that have inside its data base, a massive number of taxi parks located in and around the city.

With CABCONEKT, wherever a customer calls or coming from any part of the metropolis, for instance Ikeja, any of the available duty officers at the call centre will immediately contact any of the nearby taxi park to go and pick the passenger to his or her destination.

Fielding questions as to what comes to Maneffort under the arrangement; the CEO disclosed that the service providers charge 10 percent of the value of the charge payable by the customer that is already determined. Says he, “Maneffort is contributing to the megacity project of the current administration that is working to sanitise the transportation system”.

MSB Mahmud said that, the team collaborates with only registered ones as a way of regulating and putting the operation under strict control and supervision. On how the business model works, for any taxi park operator that is registered with CABCONEKT, there is a complementary toll-free phone with active line for easy communication.

Under this innovative product offering designed to bring succour and contentment to both individual and corporate fleet customers, there will be both fairly used and brand new or well serviced cars that will be available for rent or for a desired duration. They may be available on hourly, daily, weekly and monthly basis as the case may be.

In terms of reception and conduct of drivers, Sunday Trust was informed that some of these cars will be driven by educated, well-trained, highly cultured land pilots in special corporate uniforms and with very good knowledge of the country and its cities.

Apart from CABCONEKT, Maneffort also engages in fleet management. The product will come in form of Lease-Buy-Back, whereby the management documents the book value of customers vehicles aged between 1-36 months maximum, examine their state of repairs or service standards. Such book value shall be granted to Maneffort as a loan and vehicles handed over to the company.

All the drivers would similarly be taken over, but would be subjected to retraining and updating to Maneffort’s standards, some of which would later henceforth become employees of the company. Details of change over would be discussed on a case-by-case basis to ensure maximum benefits to both companies with expected fall out of highly motivated drivers, well-maintained cars and zero level of logistics problems of our clients.

Other services are provision of vehicles only to organizations, provision of machinery and plants, finance lease, manpower recruitment and training and provision of investment advice on stock, properties and financial analysis projections and feasibility studies.
