The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take deliberate, urgent actions to end the ongoing killings in Benue State and other troubled parts of the country.
Our correspondent reports that CAN expressed concern over the government’s failure to find a lasting solution to the violent attacks, calling on it to prioritise the safety and security of all Nigerians.
President of CAN, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, made the appeal yesterday during a condolence visit to the state government in Makurdi.
He was represented by CAN vice president, Rev. Stephen Baba, who led the delegation on the visit.
