Cancer patient seeks 600,000 assistance for treatment

Bashir Sulaiman Sa’ad, a resident of Yelwa town in Shendam Local Government Area of Plateau State is appealing to good Samaritans within and outside the country to help him finance treatment for cancer he has been battling with.

According to the patient, he has been battling with the problem for over seven years and had made several efforts to see how he could meet up with the medical expenses but couldn’t make it.

Bashir, who is currently at home, was admitted to a private hospital in Kano from where he was referred to the Malam Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital for treatment but had to leave the hospital because he was financially handicapped.

He said, “I have been battling with the illness for over seven years and I am soliciting for financial assistance from spirited individuals or corporate bodies and groups.

“The treatment has exhausted all my resources. Now I have been asked to pay N600,000 for surgery and I cannot afford it. I am appealing good Samaritans to help get out of this problem.”
