The minister gave this assurance when he inspected the estate on Wednesday.
The minister also expressed satisfaction with the level of work done so far, describing the estate as one of the finest in FCT.
“I’m very satisfied with the standard of construction work going on in the site I inspected today [Wednesday]. The developer is doing a great job to meet up with standards and they are keeping to timing and schedule as planned.”
She said the ministry provided unencumbered land while FMBN has been providing necessary funds to the developer.
“The environment is friendly. There hasn’t been any complaint about the developer and from the explanation the developer gave, all they need is funding to be released by FMBN. The MD has promised to see to that,” said the minister.
One-bedroom apartment goes for N6 million, two-bedroom apartment is for N14.5 million and three-bedroom with terrace duplex go for 27 million.”
When asked why the block of flats are so high she said, “They’re not high if you follow me when I was doing the inspection. Finishing is what really matters.
“All the rooms are tiled, you have wardrobes, the kitchen tops, quality finishing with marble.
“The buildings that have high quality. That’s why you have those rates.”
She said FMBN provides 100 percent funding, adding that the loan facility is about N1.5 billion and the bank has been releasing fund.
The Managing Director of Abuja Property Development Company (APDC) Limited Arch. Bashir Haiba said that the inspection of the estate by the minister further motivated the staff of the company while thanking the minister and the management of FMBN for all the support they have been rendering to developers in FCT.
