After several months of internal wrangling and high wire politicking, the 2012/2013 season of the Nigeria Premier League which you are permitted to call the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, is set to commence this afternoon. This is good news for football fans and the players who are eager to play football again but the handwriting on the wall is still too cold for comfort.
