Most homes have a considerable number of glass surfaces and mirrors. They attract dust, dirt, and scratches and every touch leaves a fingerprint. But when your mirrors and glass surfaces gleam, it can make your whole house sparkle. Take charge and keep your glass surfaces and mirrors looking their best. What are the best ways you can make them sparkle and glitter?
Make it a regular habit: When you set time every week to wipe the glass surfaces in your home, it becomes part of you and that way, would keep the dust away from these surfaces.
Avoid using abrasive cleaners: These surfaces though beautiful and attractive are delicate. Therefore, while cleaning do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. The reason is because they leave scratches on the surfaces.
Do it gently: Using the toughest cleaners on glass surfaces is not always the best for the job. This is because some change the colour of the glass. Therefore chlorine bleach-based cleaners should not be used because they can damage the finish.
How to do it: Dust the surface with a clean, damp cloth or soft sponge, wiping gently. The damp cloth reduces the friction, thereby reducing the force which holds the dust. A mild detergent and water solution can be used in cleaning them.
