Carloha reassures customers as Chery TIGGO V debuts at China Auto

Carloha Nigeria, the authorised dealer of Chery vehicles in Nigeria, has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering safer, smarter and family-focused mobility solutions to Nigerian consumers following the successful conclusion of the 2026 Chery Global Summit and the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition in China.

The Nigerian delegation joined global distributors, automotive partners and industry stakeholders at the event, where Chery unveiled new safety technologies, intelligent mobility innovations and its future product direction aimed at strengthening its position in global automotive markets.

A major highlight of the summit was the unveiling of Chery’s new global brand philosophy, “For Family,” which the company said represents a strategic shift from conventional automobile manufacturing toward mobility solutions centred on safety, comfort, innovation and practical transportation for modern families.

One of the standout moments at the exhibition was the global debut of the all-new Chery TIGGO V, which attracted significant attention for its advanced safety engineering and intelligent driving technologies.

The vehicle features a body structure built with 76 per cent high-strength steel and aluminium and is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), intelligent emergency braking systems, battery protection technologies and several active and passive safety systems designed to improve passenger protection and driving confidence.

Speaking on the significance of the exhibition, Managing Director of Carloha Nigeria, Sola Adigun, said the event further reinforced confidence in Chery’s long-term vision for the Nigerian and African automotive markets.

According to him, Nigerian consumers are increasingly demanding globally competitive vehicles that combine intelligent safety systems, fuel efficiency, modern designs and premium comfort.

“Nigerian customers are increasingly demanding globally competitive vehicles equipped with intelligent safety technologies, premium comfort, fuel efficiency and modern designs, all of which were prominently demonstrated throughout the Chery showcase in Beijing,” Adigun stated.

Beyond vehicle innovations, Chery also showcased its expanding technology ecosystem through its AiMOGA Robotics lineup, including the humanoid robot “Mornine” and the intelligent robotic dog “Argos.”

The technologies, powered by autonomous driving perception systems, solid-state battery technologies and vehicle-robot collaboration systems, demonstrated the company’s ambition to expand beyond traditional automobile manufacturing into intelligent living and future mobility solutions.

The Chery exhibition stand emerged as one of the major attractions at Auto China 2026, receiving over 4,000 international business visitors and stakeholders who participated in business meetings, technology exchanges and partnership discussions during the exhibition.

The showcase also attracted extensive international media attention, with automotive analysts and industry observers commending Chery’s safety-oriented product strategy, manufacturing standards and investment in intelligent mobility technologies.

General Manager of Carloha Nigeria, Felix Mahan, described the exhibition as a strong reflection of Chery’s commitment to future mobility innovation and intelligent transportation technologies.

According to him, Carloha Nigeria remains focused on bringing globally competitive automotive solutions closer to Nigerian consumers through the Chery brand.

“Carloha remains committed to bringing world-class automotive innovation closer to Nigerian consumers through the Chery brand. The future of mobility in Nigeria will continue to be driven by safety, technology, comfort and sustainability,” he said.

Mahan also highlighted the company’s CarlohaCare 6-6-7 aftersales initiative, which he said was designed to improve vehicle ownership experience by making maintenance and aftersales support easier, more affordable and more convenient for customers across Nigeria.

He further assured customers of continued access to internationally recognised vehicles designed to meet the evolving transportation and lifestyle needs of Nigerian families and businesses.
