The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Enugu State chapter, has petitioned the Commissioner of Police over the gruesome murder of four of its members allegedly by armed men in Ezeagu Local Government Area of the state.

In the petition dated October 23, 2017 jointly signed by the South-east zonal chairman, Alhaji Gidado Siddiki, state chairman of the association Haruna and the Ardo of Enugu State, Ardo Ibrahim Umar, the members recalled that on October 20, 2017, some gunmen came under the guise of neighbourhood watch, attacked and killed three of their members namely, Lawan Bello, Yahaya Manu and his brother Isiaka Manu.

Also, the MACBAN leaders recalled that “On August 17, 2017, people under the guise of neighbourhood watch, again attacked and killed one Ibrahim Jibrin at Amanco community in the same Ezeagu Local Government Area.”
