The Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria has secured the release of two inmates from the Suleja Correctional Centre, Niger State.
The inmates, Mustapha Shaibu (22 years) and Ismail Muhammed (33 years) were freed when the group visited the prison as part of the activities to celebrate its centenary anniversary.
The society’s chairman (Kubwa Branch), Abuja, Alhaji Jimoh Mohammed, said food items and toiletries were distributed to the inmates while cash was donated for the maintenance of the mosque in the correctional centre.
The group also visited Abadal Orphanage Home in Suleja, where its Kubwa branch Chief Imam, Ustaz Tajudeen Onireke, called for sustained help for the less privileged to eradicate poverty in the country.

He admonished the orphans not to feel despondent as greatness and success await them in life as the Prophet Muhammad, who was an orphan, was assured in the Holy Qur’an.
The orphanage was presented with cash donations, food, clothing, and household items for the upkeep of the orphans.
