If you are looking for a classy, sporty and eye-catching Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) brand, the Toyota C-HR may offer the bespoke experience. It is an extra-small crossover SUV that sits at the bottom of Toyota’s lineup.
Interestingly, for the 2021 model, Toyota has made changes with the addition of a new trim called Nightshade Edition.

More so, it has come with new colour choices like the oxide bronze with black roof. While some shades were continued, the CH-R now comes with several stunning shades like the supersonic red, sand pearl with silver knockout metallic roof and black sand pearl.
From 2020, the C-HR has been updated with its new front-end styling and more features, including LED headlights and Android auto smartphone compatibility.
The exterior provides aerodynamic rear lower diffuser with back rear and lip spoiler, vortex generators, aerodynamic underbody panels and front and rear wheel spats.
The new Toyota C-HR has also been updated with the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS). 2.5 safety suite which comprises dynamic radar cruise control and lane departure alert.
This is in addition to the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCSwPD) which was designed to help detect a vehicle or a pedestrian in certain situations. Using both camera and radar, the PCSwPD can provide an audio/visual alert to warn of a possible collision under certain circumstances.
Overall, the C-HR has been described as a decent choice which tries to match rivals such as the Hyundai Kona, Kia Soul and Mazda CX-30.
But as sporty and trendy as it is, its smaller cargo is a major con which buyers have to weigh before going for the machine.
