Chibundu Onuzo, the author of ‘The Spider King’s Daughter’ will be discussing her book and how to engage young people with reading in a joint conference between the Guardian and the British Library.
The event will take place in November 24th, at The Guardian, Kings Place, London, N1 and British Library, 96 Euston Road, London NW 1.
The conference will look at being creative with books, engaging teenagers with reading for pleasure, and approaches to reading choices including strategies to include a diverse range of voices in the classroom.  
The occasion will be chaired by the Guardian’s Children’s books editor Julia Eccleshare. Stephen Kelman, author of AQA GCSE set text Pigeon English, which was shortlisted for the 2011 Man Booker prize, and ‘Man on Fire’ will discuss the writing process.
