In morally backward nations worldwide, where the evil and degrading homosexuality is being openly promoted and championed, only GOD knows how many children are born annually outside wedlock as  “bastards“
Our religious leaders and scholars should rise stoutly and defend issues that are permissible in African and Islamic cultures despite attempt to give such issues negative labels by so called NGOs and deluded persons.
Many girls have been known to have married while in school and went on to further their education and become professionals from the safety and comfort of their husband homes.
God created human bodies with some basic needs including food, water etc. Sexual feeling, desire or hunger is one of them. We have all passed through teen and youth age. It is therefore, hypocritical and pretentious of our lawmakers and, especially, our highly respected Senate to be swayed by warped opinions to impose any age for marriage in our constitution.
With moral decadence growing alarmingly, how many people can swear of not “chasing’’ the same ripe or matured (with bulging breasts and full hips) classmates or juniors in tight school uniforms when in secondary schools or tertiary institutions.  It was seen as normal play and game, and is still. Most never knew it was wrong and sinful.  But, it is worse today.
Matured children of 15, 16 even 17 who must not marry, are living “couples life“ (i.e. living in a single room like married couples, but with their boyfriends) around our campuses.
With handsets now handy, you can imagine how easy it has become for girls and boys to defile themselves today. Even in primary schools, the evil of “boy friend and girl friend’ is on, what with what they watch on television, video films and above all – the all-powerful and free internet and its social networks on handsets, – our daughters are endangered.
Blind “follow-follow’’ of Oyinbo man’s way of life will only ruin us. Many ladies and men championing oyinbo ways of homosexuality and “girls must not marry until they are 18’’ should recount how many boyfriends and girlfriends they themselves have had, dumped, etc. Are they saying that that way of life should continue?
Is it not true that, despite all the funfair accompanying marriages today, many a bride are just “pangolo’’ that have been battered by boys and men perhaps from their first boy friend way back in JSS or even lower.
For the Senate to listen to perverted voices is to say that this should continue among our lovely African daughters. Though some people are allergic to anything Islam, truth must be told.
Prophet Moham-med assured that any Muslim parent who is able to raise one daughter or more, and marry them off to suitable husbands without any man defiling them beforehand; Allah will reward such parents with Al-Jannah. So, as a federation and a democracy, why should I be denied the right to try to achieve this!
You will agree with me that though there are few exceptions, the truth is that a girl who has passed through our secondary and tertiary institutions would have most likely tasted the forbidden fruit, and, perhaps, changed boyfriends, a few times.  What, with all the boys around during  inter-house sports, end of year festivities, cultural celebrations, campus social clubs events, etc,  when the girls are opportune to display their full ripeness and beauty –etc, we must not fool ourselves.
So, what is so fundamentally wrong with a father sourcing for a suitable, decent – with good family background, etc – man for his daughter on agreeable terms that she would continue her education as suitable?
Will our respected Senators say they do not know, or heard of God knows how many hundreds of girls got impregnated through the boy friend/girl friend syndrome in our school system. Despite this, many later continue their education and acquired professional capacities. If that is done in evil, one wonders what is wrong in righting such approach.
We must avoid this pitfall. As a nation of decent and cultured people, rather than go haywire over what pleases the fancy of the oyinbo man and their miscreant NGOs, we should continue to make our educational system flexible and easy for married girls to continue their education.
The Senate must develop a capacity to resist negative public opinion orchestrated by all these so called NGOs fronting for God-knows-who to destroy our cultural values, traditions and the African in us.
As Africans and a cultured people, we must be distinct, gain from the oyinbo man what is good from them, and have the courage of the legendary African Man to shun and resist their iniquities.
There is no doubt that some of these NGOs has become a veritable tool for easy money from abroad for championing often irrational and anti-African cultural practices and way of life of the Oyinbo man. These same NGOs are championing yes to homosexuality, girls must not marry when they are matured, girls must not be circumcised – a condition biologists say make women, and especially young girls more easily moved and inclined towards men and consequential sexual acts.
So what do the girls do – they are prepared by NGOs formulas to be hot early, prevented from legal conjugal relations in full maturity – unwanted pregnancy and abortions of course. Our Senate must toe the line of decency. Marriage, age involved or not, should be left out of a serious constitution.
It should remain a cultural matter at state or even local government level. It is a fact that even in the United States, a symbol of durable and working democracy and federation, different states in the US has different laws assisting and guiding marital affairs as suitable to their culture and people.
I suggest to the Senate that a law to tax any NGO championing anti-African cultural causes such as homosexuality, same-sex marriage, etc, should be introduced.
