Children’s Day: JAMB sets mock exams

Hundreds of secondary school students from Bwari Area Council Abuja yesterday took mock computer-based Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) organized by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) as part of Children’s Day commemoration. The Director Test Administration, Yusuf Lawal who represented the Registrar Dibu Ojerinde at the Computer Based Test (CBT) center in Bwari, Abuja said event was meant to partly increase awareness on computer-based testing and partly to celebrate the 2016 Children’s Day.
 He said SSS 1 and 2 students from 30 schools took part in the demonstration test to enable them get an idea of the types of questions to be expected during UTME as well as know basic computer test methods.
