A Chinese firm, Lifemate Furniture has held furniture exhibition in Benin, the Edo state capital.

The products displayed during the exhibition ranged from bed, sofas, chairs and tables among others. 

The Managing Director of the company, Mr Dai Ding Ping, said the exhibition was to show case the company products and create awareness of its existence in the state.

He said the products were made in Nigeria but that the company only imported some components of the materials that were not available in Nigeria for production. 

He said, “We hope to get all our materials from the Nigeria market. We do not want to import any material from China or any other countries.”

Ding Ping explained that plans were on to open ware houses and show room for its products in the state after the exhibition.
