In a chat with news men, the Managing Director of Maneffort, Mr. Mohammed S B Mahmud, said all the buses destined for the Nigerian market in line with the dictates of the environment will be running on Cummins engines.
He stated that, only high quality engines produced by world famous manufacturers are permitted to be installed in Yutong buses, whereby the brand’s state-level technical centre intensively studies the numerous factors in influencing fuel efficiency.
As a result, he said the company had succeeded in making the engine run stably even with lower fuel consumption through the adoption of advanced engine technologies.
When finally available, he said top of the range would be the Yutong ZK6147H super luxurious model passenger bus with rigid bus body structure and steady performance sufficiently ensures the operation safety that can create more profit. “Through strict control of each step in design and production, the brand reduces the maintenance rate and cost efficiency while bringing to customers long-term value in return.
“It is equipped with double glass front windscreen with smooth outline and also maintenance friendly and sophisticated driveline with low fuel consumption.
The ZK6737D series on its part, he said, “comes with very innovative front grille combines the front headlight as a whole, a technically advanced chassis that ensures good rigidly while having the ability to bear large capacities and simple, yet stylish interior trimming with harmonious colour choices.”
Reacting on the price sensitive nature of the luxury bus buyers locally, Maneffort chief executive revealed that Yutong manufactures understand operators expects to purchase a high quality bus at reasonable prices, while also reducing operating cost effectively and enhancing the capacity of earning profits. “Yutong Buses are coming to Nigeria with adequate spare parts, adequate technical back up, Manufacturers warranty and free after sales service up to six months after purchase”, the Maneffort boss said.
