Chinese filmmaker, Chloe Zhao, made history as the second woman to win best director at the Academy Awards held on Sunday. 

The director of “Nomadland” did not only make history as the second woman to win the awards but she’s also the first Asian/woman of colour to ever win the award, making it a double honour for her.
