As part of its corporate social responsibility towards community development, Living Faith Church has renovated one kilometre link road in No Man’s Land, Sabon-Gari area of Kano metropolis.

Speaking at the commissioning, the resident and state Pastor of the Church, Pastor Agi Emmanuel said the project was a testimony of the contributions of the Christian community to the development of the state.

Pastor Agi said apart from the rehabilitation of the road, the church had embarked on various programmes in the areas of education, health and other fields of human endeavours.

“Living Faith Church Kano and its members will continue to advocate for and support all round advancement of the state especially in infrastructural development. This will not only improve the overall standard of the people living in the area but also place Kano state as a developed commercial centre in the North,” he said.

Kano Chronicle observed that, before the intervention, the road which linked Iroko Avenue, Kwoi close and Nguru road was in a shamble state as a result of several potholes and lack of drainages.

Speaking on behalf of the state government, Senior Special Adviser to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Inter-Ethnic matters, Mr. Lynous Okoroje commended leaders of the church for complementing government efforts in the area of infrastructure.

Okoroje assured people of Sabon-Gari area of government determination to complete all ongoing projects in the area especially the Sabon Gari flyover before the end of 2018.
