Some churches in Benin City flouted directives on social distancing and gathering of not more than 20 persons during the Sunday Church service, it has emerged.
Correspondents observed gatherings of more than 20 people at Sunday service, some less than that number, and some not at all.
Our reporter also observed that in most of the churches, worshippers observe hand washing with sanitizers stationed at the entrance of the churches.
A correspondent noted six churches where social distancing was not observed, group of 20 in service together, two churches that failed to comply with the directce.
