The Coordinator of Federation of Informal Workers’ Organizations of Nigeria (FIWON) in Osun State, Comrade Ibrahim Olayinka said citizens groups in the state including artisans, youth groups, people living with disabilities, women groups, media and civil society organizations came together and agreed on 6-point demands to engage gubernatorial candidates in the September 22 election in the state.
The demands which covers social protection, education, health, ease of doing business, inclusiveness and local government autonomy was validated in Osoogbo today August 14 with the support of the Partnership to Engage, Reform and Learn, (PERL) a programme of the Department for International Development (DFID).
