Uket gave the advice during the presentation of his book: “Winning the Office ‘Battles’” in Abuja recently.
The author, who was awarded the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) honours awards by late President Umaru Yar’ Adua, is currently a scientific officer at the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology.
He said he wrote the book to address the challenges faced by workers in the workplace, adding that “the book wants to drive productivity in public service, and it must be anchored on the essence of godly virtues in the workplace.
“If we must rise above building a society devoid of hatred, political thuggery, especially as we are preparing towards 2015, there is need for us to entrench godly values in the system. There is need for us to preach love in the polity,” he said.
The book reviewer, Jamila Maishanu commended the author for his ingenuity in coming up with a book that would improve productivity at the workplace.
