The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, on Monday expressed concern over the delay in Nigeria’s justice delivery system.
He spoke at the virtual opening ceremony of the 2020 all Nigeria Judges’ Conference of lower courts, holding at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja.

“The delay in our justice delivery system has been a source of great concern to me as it must be to you all,” he said.
“This unacceptable situation inevitably dictates the need for a thorough and comprehensive reform of our justice sector to ensure access to justice at affordable costs and within a reasonable time.”
Administrator, National Judicial Institute, Justice Rosaline Bozimo, said the lower courts remained an ever present and enduring necessity to all Nigerians.
