CJN inaugurates Architects Disciplinary Tribunal

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, (CJN) Justice Mahmud Mohammed, has sworn-in the Chairman, Secretary, Members and Assessor of the Architects Disciplinary Tribunal in the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
The Tribunal which was set up by virtue of Architects (Registration, etc) Act, Cap A19, LFN 2004, is mandated to conduct hearings into the disciplinary matters pertaining to the conduct that go contrary to the Rules and Code of Conduct guiding the ethics of the profession.
The Tribunal has Arc Umar Aliyu , the current President of the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), as its Chairman, with Arc Umar Saulawa Murnai, Registrar of ARCON as its Secretary.   Members of the Tribunal that his Lordship swore in are Arc Gabriel O. Ajayi, Arc Emmanuel Omatsome, Arc Waheed Niyi Brimmo, Njoku Festus Adibe, Arc Saleh Mohammed Yunusa, Arc Aliyu Mode and Barrister Nwabuike Edechime as Assessor.
The CJN urged Tribunal Members to abide by their oath of office and oath of allegiance and be fair and just to those whose matters are brought before them.
