Prophet Oloruntoba Ajose of Zion ministry of C&S Mission in Ori-Okuta, Ikorodu, Lagos State, has sent a message to the governor-elect of Edo state, Monday Okpebholo.
Speaking in Yoruba during a mid-week service, the prophet said Okpebholo “should make sure he honours any covenant made with political forces in his quest for victory.
“He must realise that the Almighty promoted covenants with the children of Israel all through their sojourn and walk in the wilderness. God frowns at ingratitude of any sort.”
The man of God further predicted that if he disregards agreements earlier reached, “he will be shown out of office in less than a year”.
This warning is coming days to the inauguration of the governor-elect.
Okpebholo defeated Asue Ighodalo in the recently concluded Edo governorship election.
However, Ighodalo is challenging the outcome at the tribunal.
