Cleric urges govt to address insecurity

A cleric, Bishop Mike Bamidele, has urged the federal government to address insecurity in the country and end incessant killings of innocent citizens.

He said this at the Ministers Fire Conference and a Holy Ghost Rally at Government Technical College in Osogbo, the state capital.

He charged clerics to intensify prayers against insurgents, kidnappers and other groups causing breach of peace in Nigeria.

Bishop Bamidele of Victory Chapel International, who is also the convener of Pentecost Day celebration in the state, said prayer remained  the major weapon required to fight and defeat insurgents and kidnappers.

Bishop Bamidele also prayed for Nigeria and Osun State and charged Christians to keep praying to God to end insecurity in the country.
