A Christian cleric in Osun State, Apostle Lawrence Bamilaw, has appealed to governments at all levels to tackle moral decadence among youths.

Bamilaw, who is the convener of the Osun 24Hours Marathon Praise, said at a press conference heralding the 2019 edition of the event holding on Friday in Osogbo, Osun State, that the level of moral decadence among youths had become a source of serious concern.

The cleric reiterated the need for governments to formulate necessary policies that monitor and regulate the kind of musical videos that television stations in the country broadcast.

Noting that youths were being exposed to obscene content in the media, particularly on the DStv, he tasked government agencies saddled with regulatory responsibilities to prevent the DStv and other media platforms from misguiding the youths and children.

He also condemned a reality programme on DStv, the Big Brother show, saying the manner adults behaved on it was too corrupt.
