Clerics admonish on raising children with Quranic knowledge

Islamic clerics in Lagos have admonished the Muslim ummah on the need to raise children with adequate knowledge of Quran and Hadith.

Sheikh Abdulfatai Aderibigbe and Imam Ishaq Aderibigbe, the Proprietor, Al-Imtiyaz madrasah in Lagos, gave the advice at the school’s Quranic graduation ceremony Schools, Isolo in Lagos. Sheikh Aderibigbe, who was the Guest Speaker at the event, said the contemporary society is brimming with many vices allowing moral decadence to be on the rise.

He warned that except urgent action is taking, the future of the ummah and the society at large would be endangered.

Similarly, the Proprietor, Al-Imtiyaz said the need to salvage the growing decadence in the society especially with Islamic knowledge necessitated the setting up of the madrasah.

He said children are better trained on the path of Allah when they are led to it in their tender age. He said so far, the strategy has been making tremendous impact in the society.
