An alliance of faith and non-faith-based organisations in Nigeria under the auspices of the Justice for Palestinians Coalition (JUPAC) has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to freeze all relations with the state of Israel.
It also urged the government to be wary of Israel’s deceptive infiltration of the Nigerian intelligence architecture, saying hijacking it remains its abiding goal in Nigeria.
Its Executive Director, Owei Lakemfa, stated this while addressing a press conference in Abuja yesterday.
He urged all the Arab nations to put on hold all talks and plans about normalization with Israel until the state of Palestine is achieved on the pre-1967 border lines.

The coalition also called on the Arab League, the African Union (AU) and all other regional bodies with a history of colonialism to intensify their support for the Palestinian struggle by embracing the BDS (Boycott by individuals, Divestment and Sanctions) by corporate entities, and sanctions by governments against the Israeli apartheid regime adding that it can change the character of the regime in Tel Aviv and make it conform to international laws.
JUPAC declared its support and stand with the people of Palestine and declared that the state of Israel and its backers – the US and EU – are fully responsible and culpable for all the episodes of genocide, mass murder, deaths and destruction being perpetrated by Israel on the defenceless Palestinian men, women and children in Gaza.
The alliance said it had observed how the Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria had been trying to whitewash the crimes of his home government and to persuade the media in Nigeria to label Hamas a terrorist organization.
