During the event, there was soul touching delivery of the word of God by Mrs Grace Jakawa.

She preached on the topic, “The Tower of Babel” taking references from Genesis Chapter 11:1-9 and Chronicles 29:1-9.

Also, the priest-in-charge of the church, James Dogara Madaki who took charge of proceedings preached on the topic, “The Biblical Principles of Raising Funds for Church Development.” The text was from Exodus 35:5-12 and Leviticus 27:33.

The event was rounded off on Sunday with appeal fund.

In his remark at the Sunday event, the caretaker pastor of the church, Elder Johnson David Jangnan thanked all the members of the local assembly as well as invited guests and dignitaries that graced the occasion saying their contribution to the work of God was wonderful.

He enjoined all members and guests to join hands and see that a befitting edifice is erected for the church.

“The proposed building will help in easing the accommodation challenge that ministers of God face, especially in a place like Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory,” he noted.

The sum of N800,000 was realized at the end of the event.

Mr Salman Dashe, Mr and Mrs Titus Akusu, Capt. Kelvin Vongman, Mr and Mrs Patrick Adamu were among the dignitaries present at the occasion.
