The ceremony which started with a revival session was rounded off on Sunday with a combined church service.

The event witnessed a large turnout of members of the church as well as members from sister church councils.

Members of the church assembly as well as elders gave good testimonies about the outgoing church leader.

Chairman of the Regional Church Council, Reverend Chuwang Gyang admonished the outgoing cleric to keep up his zeal to serve God and continue making sure that the less privileged within the church community are assisted.

“I have so many testimonies to give about the out-going Reverend. In all honesty, Reverend Davou Jakawa is a meticulous servant of God. Once he is giving an assignment, he delivers without supervision and he does that with excellence and timeliness. His humility is also exemplary,” Gyang testified.

The secretary of the LCC, Elder Salmen Dashe also wished the Jakawa good luck in his new assignment saying the church recognized the fact that he has invested in the spiritual life of the church members.
