The College of Education (CoE), Akwanga in Nasarawa State has matriculated 4, 150 students just as the Provost, Dr. Rebecca Umaru, warned them against joining cultism.

Speaking at the College’s 2016/17 matriculation ceremony, the Provost said students involved in cultism would be dismissed and handed over to the police.

Dr. Umaru also warned students against social vices such as drug addiction, alcoholism, theft, indecency, examination malpractice, among others, adding that these vices are anti-progress and are not condoned by the college management.

She advised all students of the institution to improve their reading culture by making good use of the library and internet facilities. Dr. Umaru also cautioned the college lecturers and ask them to comply with the ban on the sale of handouts, adding that violators would face disciplinary action.
