The FCT College of Education (COE), Zuba, has sworn in new deans, directors, and heads of departments to run the affairs of the college for the next two years.

Leading the exercise on Thursday, the Provost of the college, Dr. Sule Mundi, charged the appointees to maintain a high standard of discipline and professionalism in discharging their respective responsibilities.

He also urged them to be more committed and make sacrifices in bringing more positive development to the institution, surpassing the achievements of their predecessors.

Speaking on behalf of the appointed leaders, one of the new deans, Dr. Longshal Wakili Markus, called on his colleagues to consider the appointment a challenge of a calling to service, adding that with dedication and hard work, they would succeed in their respective responsibilities.

About 30 staff members who have retired from the college since its inception were honored during the event, a recognition gesture that the provost said started last year.
